Jewish school finds new space in Coral Springs, Fla.

June 21, 2013
Mesivta of Coral Springs is an all-boys school for middle and high school students.

The Coral Springs, Fla., city commission has given the go-ahead for an all-boys Jewish school to open on the site of a former animal hospital. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel says the Mesivta of Coral Springs — a school of 60 middle and high school students — is scheduled to open this fall. School operators are entering into a long-term lease with the property owner. For the past year, the school had been operating without proper approvals at another location, and the city ordered it closed in April because of code violations.
