Schools built with state funds in Ohio typically are crowded

Analysis shows that of 471 schools built since 2001 with state funding, more than half are crowded or over capacity.

The Columbus Dispatch reports that of the 471 schools built since 2001 with funding from the Ohio School Facilities Commission, more than half are crowded or over capacity. In 2012-13, of the 52 schools that opened with state funding, 18 exceeded capacity and another 25 were crowded (at 85 percent capacity or higher).
