Teachers union plans to sue to block Chicago school closings

Chicago Teachers Union announces that it will file civil rights lawsuits to stop the district from closing more than 50 schools.

The Chicago Teachers Union says its plans to file two federal civil rights lawsuits on behalf of a number of Chicago Public School parents to block the school board from closing 53 elementary schools and one high school program.
