Fort Worth (Texas) district to eliminate 213 jobs

84 will be laid off, and 129 unfilled positions will be slashed.

From More than 200 jobs will be eliminated by the Fort Worth (Texas) Independent School District under a plan aimed at trimming an anticipated $41 million budget shortfall. No teachers will be affected by the 213 layoffs, but 56 teachers assistants, 21 library clerks and seven physical education assistants will be let go.
