Three people were wounded on the North Harris campus of Lone Star College near Houston when a quarrel escalated when a man pulled a handgun, The Associated Press reports. Two men involved in the quarrel sustained wounds, as well as a maintenance worker caught in the crossfire. Carlton Berry, 22, who has been hospitalized for an apparently self-inflicted accidental gunshot wound, has been charged with aggravated assault. The conditions of the other wounded men were not disclosed. The shooting happened outside between an academic building and the library. Police evacuated and the campus after the shooting, but classes have resumed this morning, The Houston Chronicle says.
