The D.C. Public Charter School Board has voted to close Arts and Technology Academy, an elementary school that has failed to meet its academic achievement goals over the past 15 years. The Washington Post says the 630-student charter school in Northeast Washington, D.C., will be allowed to continue operating through the end of this school year.
