20 Houston teachers pulled from classrooms in test-cheating probe

The district is looking into possible cheating involving state-administered exams last year

The Houston school district has removed 20 teachers from classrooms as part of an investigation into suspected test cheating at two elementary campuses. The Houston Chronicle says a total of 15 teachers from Jefferson and Atherton elementary schools have been assigned to non-school duties. Five other teachers who worked at Jefferson last year but now work at other schools also have been reassigned. The suspected cheating involves state exams administered last school year.
