Villanova University zoning request goes back to planning commission

University wants change in Radnor Township, Pa., so it can build more student housing and a performance arts facility.

The Radnor Township (Pa.) Board of Commissioners has sent Villanova University's request for a zoning change back to the Planning Commission. Mainlinenewsmedia.com reports that Villanova is seeking the change so that it can build a a residence hall, performance hall and parking garage. The Planning Commission had voted in May not to recommend the zoning change ordinance. Following the May vote, the university altered the proposal by reducing the heights of the buildings.
