Lassonde Living Learning Center will house 400 students who are interested in starting businesses.

The University of Utah has approved plans for the Lassonde Living Learning Center, which is slated to house about 400 students when it opens in Fall 2016. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the center will be a place where students interested in starting a business could live, work and perfect their ideas. The $45 million project will be funded by a $15 million donation from mining magnate Pierre Lassonde and $30 million in bond proceeds to be paid off through university housing revenue.
