11-year-old boy killed in Springtown (Texas) school bus accident

An 11-year-old boy has died after being hit by a Springtown (Texas) school district bus. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says the accident occurred as the bus stopped to pick up another child across the street from the boy’s home. The boy, Haven Lee Norton, tripped and fell down in front of the bus, authorities say. He was a fourth-grader at Springtown Elementary School and was new to riding the bus.
