First day of classes for merged Memphis-Shelby County (Tenn.) district

Video from WHBQ-TV: The newly merged Memphis-Shelby County (Tenn.) district welcomed about 150,000 students to classes Monday morning. The merged district in its current form will exist for only one year. In 2014, six Shelby County municipalities will break away and start their own public school systems.
