$4 million gift will help pay for science building at Pennsylvania college

Richard King Mellon Foundation makes a donation to Grove City College

The Richard King Mellon Foundation has given $4 million to Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., to help pay for a new science, engineering and mathematics building. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review says the gift — the school's largest from a foundation — will help pay for the $37 million hall. The building is the largest part of a $90 million campaign called Grove City Matters.
