The Colorado School of Mines in Golden is undergoing a construction boom with more than $68 million in new facilities. The Denver Post says a new residence and dining hall are set to open by July 2014. The 200-bed, $34 million residence and dining hall will have 95,000 square feet of space. The school also has plans for a welcome center and a new stadium scheduled to open in 2015.
