Chicago school board approves 7 charter applications

10 proposals were rejected.

The Chicago School Board has approved proposals for seven new charter schools that will open in the next two years. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the board also followed district administrators' recommendations and rejected 10 charter proposals.
