The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is funding a national campaign to promote fire safety on college campuses. The touring campaign, called “The Alarming Truth,” will make its first stop at Boston University School of Management on June 4.

It will include a short film and seminars intended to make students aware of the causes of fatal fires and teach prevention strategies.

The campaign will be run by the Clery Center for Security on Campus.
