An annual celebration at Iowa State University turned into a riot resulting in violence and overturned cars.
“We are all distraught and disappointed over the events that have unfolded near campus overnight,” President Steven Leath said in a statement. “I can confirm that one of our students has been seriously injured and his condition is unknown at this hour.”
