Congress urges colleges to get tough on sexual assault.

Nearly two-thirds of universities still "shirk their legal responsibilities to address sexual violence,” The Huffington-Post reported. The statistic comes from a study by the National Institute of Justice cited by 39 members of Congress in urging the Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights to force colleges and universities to come into better compliance with Title XI gender-equity requirements.
