A man who attempted to sexually assault a female student at the University of Chicago has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, aggravated criminal sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping, battery of a police officer and residential burglary, the Chicago Tribune reported.Tavares Humphries, 28, was witnessed attacking a female student in the shower of Commons South dormitory. The female was wearing a robe and a towel when Humphries attempted to assault her.One male witness ran to get help, and two other male students accosted and detained the assailant until police arrived.
