Security upgrade gives police access to Baltimore Co. school cameras

The security upgrade was in reaction to a 2012 high school shooting that left one student injured on the first day of school.

Police officers can now see what’s going on inside Baltimore County elementary schools from their patrol cars, WBAL reported. The county recently announced a new $3.7 million camera network, called “One View,” that gives officers access to a web-based live video feed. The security upgrade was in reaction to a 2012 high school shooting that left one student injured on the first day of school.
