A paraprofessional at private high school in Kansas City, Mo., was wounded in a drive-by shooting outside the school.
KSHB-TV reports that a car pulled up outside the Plaza Academy Tuesday afternoon and shot the paraprofessional. He was taken to a local hospital, and he is expected to recover.
Police say it doesn't appear that any students were targeted by the shooter, or that the shooter tried to get into the school.
No one was in custody.
Plaza Academy enrolls about 65 students in grades seven to 12.
