Largest bond issues approved by Michigan school districts, March 2020

The March 10 election was completed before the coronavirus forced widespread postponements.

Many school districts have had to cancel or postpone bond elections in recent weeks because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

But before social distancing and stay-at-home orders became necessary, voters in many Michigan districts were able to cast ballots on capital improvement proposals.

The largest success bond request was in the Plymouth-Canton district, where voters approved a $275 million package that will pay for facility upgrades throughout the district, including a natatorium and an additional stadium.

Here are the 10 largest bond requests in Michigan districts that voters approved on March 10:
