The top-ranked community colleges in the United States in 2019, as determined by the Wallet Hub website

State Technical College of Missouri in Linn, Mo., is the nation's highest-rated community college for 2019, an analysis by the WalletHub website has concluded.

The personal-finance website gathered data from 710 community colleges and assessed the institutions' performance in three key areas: cost and financing, education outcomes, and career outcomes.

Analysts examined 19 indicators of cost and quality, such as in-state tuition and fees, student-faculty ratio and graduation rates.

"Community colleges offer students the ability to get higher education without having as much financial strain," WalletHub says.

State Technical College of Missouri scored the highest for 2019, with 70.09 out of 100. The top-ranked community college in 2018, Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, ranks second in the 2019 list.
