South Dakota has the best community college systems of all the states, according to an analysis by the Wallet Hub website.
The website's analysts used results from its ranking of the best and worst individual community colleges in the United States to calculate the state rankings. The analysis of individual community colleges looked at 14 data points from 728 institutions
"We calculated a weighted average of the scores earned by the community colleges in each state and the number of students enrolled in each school," the site says.
