States that spent the most on facilities acquisition and construction, fiscal 2011

U.S. public schools spent nearly $41 billion in 2010-11 on facilities acquisition and construction, according to a report from the National Center for Education Statistics, "Revenues and Expenditures for Public Elementary and Secondary Education: School Year 2010-11." Here are the 10 states where more than $1 billion was spent on facilities acquisition and construction.
