Clemson University completes $46.2 million residence hall renovation

Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, has completed a $46.2 million renovation of one of its residence halls.

The Greenville Journal reports that the renovated 11-story Manning Hall has 110,000 square feet of student housing with 432 beds and 8,000 square feet of amenity space.

Modern amenities were added to Manning Hall along with enhanced security features, improved accessibility and updated interiors.

The university says Manning Hall will be an all-female residence.

Manning Hall is one of three residence halls that are part of Clemson’s Bryan Mall High Rise student housing renovation project. Byrnes Hall upgrades were completed last year, and renovations to Lever Hall are scheduled for completion in summer 2026.
