Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, has completed the renovation and expansion of the Franzen Science Center.

The college says the project encompassed 68,500 square feet of revitalized space and more than 19,000 square feet of new construction. The upgrades are the first major renovation to the 1960s-era facility in over 30 years and will support STEM-related curricula on campus.

The renovation includes comprehensive instrumentation upgrades, new lab flooring, enhanced benches and mechanical improvements. Modernized active learning classrooms, equipped with LED lighting and state-of-the-art whiteboards, create an ideal setting for interactive and dynamic learning experiences.

The introduction of energy-efficient windows, lighting and HVAC systems highlights the college's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The architect is Kahler Slater, and the builder is Boldt Construction.
