The Bartholomew (Ind.) district will carry out a $12 million renovation of Parkside Elementary School in Columbus.
The two-year project will create a STEM lab, new large group instruction areas, dedicated spaces to support students’ mental wellness, and gender-neutral restrooms, reports Local News Digital.
Classrooms will have more natural light, new flooring, cabinetry, and windows, and significant architectural features, such as existing interior beams, will be preserved.
