Texas-based charter network is renovating former university facility in Cincinnati, Ohio, for new campus
IDEA Public Schools, a charter network based in Texas, is renovating the former site of the Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a new campus.
The charter network bought the 30-acre site and plans to open a school that will initially accommodate about 500 students in K-2 and seventh grades, reports WVXU.
Initially all students will be in one building (President’s Hall at the university) and then separate into elementary, junior high and high school buildings when construction is complete and the school expands.
The school is set to open later this year.
