The Fargo (North Dakota) district has broken ground on an elementary school that will replace three existing campuses.

The Forum reports that the new Horace Mann Elementary will be a $45 million facility and is set to open in 2028. It is being constructed on the site of the existing Horace Mann, a 110-year-old school.

The new school will have capacity for 444 students and replace the existing Horace Mann, Roosevelt and Madison elementary schools.

The district is scheduled to demolish the existing Horace Mann in June to clear the way for construction.
