The University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut, plans to break ground later this year on a new home for the Pompea College of Business.

The New Haven Register reports that the 50,000-square-foot building is expected to have a phased-in opening; some departments are scheduled to move into the new building by spring 2028.

The university's business school had been in Orange for more than a decade before moving back to West Haven in 2025, according to school officials.

The new building will be on the south end of the campus and will include dedicated suites for career development, mentorship, internships, and advising.

It will also have a simulated financial trading room, an AI and business analytics lab, an entrepreneurial pitch room, and a student-run cafe.
