Business school building nears completion at Western Kentucky University
Construction of a building to house the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green is set to be finished by the end of July.
The College Heights Herald reports that the $99.4 million, 131,000-square-foot facility will will open before fall classes start on Aug. 18.
The business school facility has been built on the space formerly occupied by Tate Page Hall. The university says the building will provide flexible classrooms, new technology, areas for team projects, and spaces designed to emulate real-world working environment.
The facility also will have resources such as a virtual reality simulation space, trading lab with access to Bloomberg Terminals, a one-stop-shop Student Success Center, and a Center for Financial Success.
The architect is Gensler.
