Community college in Tucson, Ariz., is constructing an advanced manufacturing facility

The $35 million building at Pima Community College will house the Automated Industrial Technology, Computer-Aided Design, Machining, and Welding programs.
The three-story facility is a part of the college's Center of Excellence in Applied Technology, reports the Arizona Daily Star.
The Center of Excellence also includes the Automotive Technology and Innovation Center and the Science and Technology building.
The 95,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility will house the college's Automated Industrial Technology, Computer-Aided Design, Machining, and Welding programs along with a flexible industry training lab, a workforce development incubator and administrative offices.
