The university will construct an $80 million, 150,000-square-foot library, and three facilities to house the law, optometry, nursing and dental programs, the university says in a news release.
The facilities are needed to house the academic schools High Point is adding: Law, Optometry, Nursing and Dental. A School of Entrepreneurship will also be added to campus in the future.
With the addition of these schools, High Point will have 14 academic schools, up from just three schools in 2005.
