The Geary County (Kan.) district is constructing a 81,000-square-foot elementary school on the Fort Riley military base
The elementary school will accommodate about 390 students in pre-K through fifth grade, the district says in a news release.
The district will break ground next month on the facility. The school is being built where the former Jefferson Elementary stood.
SJCF Architecture is the architect and Hutton Construction is the construction manager.
