Rocketship Public Schools, a charter school network, is constructing a new campus in Fort Worth, Texas

The two-story elementary school in the Stop Six neighborhood will be equipped with 22 classrooms, two learning labs for project-based collaborative learning, and a separate gymnasium, reports Fort Worth Magazine

The school will serve grades pre-K to 3 in its first year. Plans call for adding fourth and fifth grade in the future.

According to Rocketship, over 80% of the elementary schools within three miles of the site are rated C or below by the Texas Education Agency.

The school is slated to open in August 2022.
