The Amesbury (Mass.) district is building a 98,000-square-foot elementary school.
The Sgt. Jordan Shay Memorial Lower Elementary School, scheduled to be completed in 2023, will provide additional space to accommodate Amesbury's burgeoning elementary school population.
In October 2019, residents voted to build the school next to the existing Cashman Elementary. The two buildings will create an elementary campus; students grades preK to 2 will attend Shay Memorial and students in grades 3 to 5 will attend Cashman.
CTA Construction Managers is the construction manager, and DiNisco Design is the architect.
