Meet the jury from this year's Educational Interiors Showcase competition.

David Magida

Chief Administrative Officer
Norwich University, Northfield, Vt.

David has devoted his professional career to the management of higher-education facilities and grounds. Since 1979, he has assumed expanding levels of responsibility within higher education while retaining oversight of master planning, construction and renovation projects. David has served as chief administrative officer at Norwich University for 15 years. In this role, he oversees most university-wide administrative support services, in addition to his responsibility for facilities operations and construction.

Frank Sever

Supervisor of Buildings, Grounds & Equipment
Mayfield City School District, Mayfield Heights, Ohio

Frank has more than 25 years experience in facilities management. He has contributed to multiple construction and building-improvement projects, serving as both owner's representative and project manager. Frank currently is involved in an $11 million district renovation project for the Mayfield City School District. Last year, he helped the district earn the 2007 EPA Tools for Schools Excellence Award and an honorable mention in American School & University's Green Cleaning Award for Schools and Universities. Frank continues to emphasize the importance of indoor air quality and its impact on the education process.

Charles A. Wilson III, RA

Senior Associate
Ayers/Saint/Gross Architects + Planners, Baltimore

Charlie has more than 30 years experience in the planning, design and construction of a variety of projects in both the public and private sectors. His previous leadership in the university architect's office at the University of Cincinnati helped transform a dense, urban campus into a place recognized by the Princeton University Press as one of the more important destinations for world-class architecture in the last 20 years. His current projects at Ayers/Saint/Gross include planning a billion-dollar healthcare expansion at Emory University, Atlanta; master plans for Lafayette College, Easton, Pa., and the University of Maryland, Baltimore; housing and parking studies for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; and a building and land-use plan for the University of Scranton, Pa.
