The residence halls would house the schools students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, as well as those on the autistic spectrum or with emotional or behavioral issues, reports the Hartford Business Journal

The Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority said the school wants to borrow about $20 million to build the facilities.

The campus has three larger and two smaller residence halls as well as cottages.
