Jefferson County (Ky.) district has proposed spending $114 million plan to build three schools.
WHAS-TV reports that the proposal calls for Grace James Academy of Excellence and W.E.B. DuBois Academy to be rebuilt; a new middle school also would be built in west Louisville.
The proposed new facilities are part of the district's $1.1 billion facilities plan that includes smaller renovations and repairs.
If the school board approves the plan, construction would begin within the next four years.
