University of Chicago plans to let the Obamas choose presidential library location

The University of Chicago has announced that it will let Barack and Michelle Obama choose the location for the Obama presidential library in Chicago, the Chicago Tribune reported. A foundation for the library’s construction was established in January. The library will likely be a collaboration among various Chicago-based universities and groups, but the foundation is still taking individual bids in Chicago and in other areas.
