The three-story building features an Energy-Star-rated roof; water-saving systems; sustainable wood floors; and low-emitting paints, carpeting and other materials. Project highlights include 24 percent energy cost savings from HVAC systems and lighting, 40 percent savings with water-efficient fixtures, 85 percent of demolition and construction waste diverted from landfills, 25 percent of building materials manufactured within 500 miles, and 20 percent of materials consisting of recycled content.
