Texas Gov. Rick Perry and some Republicans in the Legislature say they are considering repealing a state law that prohibits the possession of firearms on college campuses. The issue was launched to the forefront of national debate two weeks ago, after a 23-year-old student at Virginia Tech University carried out the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
