Lake Carolina Development Co. paid $30,000 to Richland District 2 last month in exchange for the district's naming a new school Lake Carolina Elementary.

Lake Carolina Development Co. paid $30,000 to Richland District 2 last month in exchange for the district's naming a new school Lake Carolina Elementary. Richland 2 policy allows board members to name a school after a person or company if a "substantial" incentive is given.
