The student residence hall at Palm Beach Community College, hobbled for years by low occupancy and poor conditions, looks healthy for the first time ever and after eight years is now making a profit. Its occupancy rate is at an all-time high of 97 percent. Officials attribute the turnaround to a new management company that has fixed up the buildings and promoted the facility.
