A muddy construction site at the edge of an Oswego subdivision offers a preview of Community Unit School District 308's future. Fox Chase Elementary School, being built on what was once a cornfield, is one of two schools set to open this fall to serve the sprawling school district. And they won't be the last. A population boom in four communities is fueling growth in the district, with enrollment expected to more than double over the next seven years.
