Cleveland Mayor Michael R. White and the campaign committee pushing a bond issue and levy for Cleveland schools has named a cross-section of Clevelanders to a board that would monitor spending of the money the measure would generate. On May 8, voters will decide the fate of Issue 14, which would raise property taxes to generate $380 million for school construction, repair and maintenance.
