Texas Senate approves bill for new four-year college in Dallas

The Texas Senate has passed legislation clearing the way for the University of North Texas System to open a school in Dallas. It would be Dallas' first four-year public institution of higher education. UNT now operates a "system center" in Dallas that serves nearly 600 students.
