District in Chicago suburbs to spend millions on high-tech improvements

To replace outdated property ranging from band instruments to desks, chairs and computers, Township High School District 211 Board of Education officials in Chicago's northwest suburbs have approved a $9.3 million spending plan. Nearly half of the money will go for high-tech improvements at the district's five schools.
