Dallas-Fort Worth airport may acquire middle school site

A Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport proposal to acquire the old Grapevine Middle School in preparation for a planned west runway has city officials in Grapevine discussing ways to quash the deal. The 17-acre school site, owned by the Grapevine-Colleyville school district, is about a mile north of the planned west runway. The school is moving to a new location this fall.
