Houston school district may sell its administration building

The Houston school district's administration building, dubbed "The Taj Mahal" by critics who consider the facility wasteful and pretentious, might go on the auction block. The school board is considering a study to determine whether it should spend as much as $15 million to upgrade the 32-year-old building or sell it. The buildings sit on 24 acres of prime property.
